Morad live in Malta — July 27, 2026
Morad performed in Malta in 2025 at Gianpula Village — the first contact between the Barcelona rapper and the island's Francophone scene. He returns to the same stage on July 27, 2026, with a more extensive discography and an even more established reputation in Europe.
Morad El Khattouti El Horami grew up in the La Florida neighborhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, a southern suburb of Barcelona, to Moroccan parents. He started rapping at 14, recorded his first songs on WhatsApp, and released MDLR in 2019 — "Mec De La Rue" (Man of the Street), a slogan borrowed from French suburban rap that he reinterpreted in Spanish. Motorola became number one on YouTube in Spain in November 2020. The Bizarrap Music Session Vol. 47 in 2021 confirmed his status — number one on the PROMUSICAE chart for two weeks. Reinsertado in 2023 is his most complete project.
What makes Morad particularly relevant to the Malta Adventures audience is his positioning between two cultures: Spanish drill from Barcelona's neighborhoods and a real proximity to French-language rap — Jul, Freeze Corleone, Central Cee, Koba LaD, Seven Binks. On July 27 at Gianpula Village, Malta's largest open-air complex in Rabat — multiple simultaneous stages, 4,000 people — it will be his second summer on the island.
