In just a few summers, Malta has become one of Europe's go-to destinations for rap and urban artist showcases. Every summer, Malta Adventures programs a season of live performances in the island's most iconic venues — Tigullio Malta in Spinola Bay and Gianpula Village in Rabat — in front of a French-speaking and international crowd from all over Europe.

The 2026 line-up brings together established names and rising acts: French rap, Spanish rap, Italian rap. Some artists are returning to Malta, others are stepping on the island for the first time. A season running from 5 July to 30 August.

Not to be missed — end of season 2026

Two major dates close the summer. HUGEL plays Fort Manoel on 29 August 2026 — the French producer and global Afro House figure behind the "Bella Ciao" remix with over 1.5 billion streams, open-air facing Valletta. One night only in Malta this year. And Gradur at Tigullio on 23 August, before TK on 30 August closes the season.

All showcases start at 11:00 PM. Minimum age 17, ID required at the door. HUGEL at Fort Manoel is the exception: doors open at 6:00 PM, minimum age 18.

Malta Adventures live performances take place in two partner venues. Tigullio Malta in Spinola Bay, St. Julian's — an underground main room built in Maltese stone, 70 years of history, with a permanent concert stage. And Gianpula Village in Rabat — the island's largest open-air complex, several simultaneous stages, 4,000 capacity. In 2026, Fort Manoel joins the list — an 18th-century fort on Manoel Island in Gzira, hosting the HUGEL showcase.
