TK in Live Performance in Malta — August 30, 2026
TK hails from the Panier district in the 2nd arrondissement of Marseille, of Algerian origin. He started making music as a joke with friends, influenced by Le Rat Luciano, Fonky Family, Booba, and 50 Cent. It was through a close friend of Jul's cousin that his music reached the ears of the Marseille rapper — Jul immediately invited him on Planète Rap on Skyrock and signed him to his label D'or et de platine. National exposure overnight.
Since then, TK has developed a consistent solo career: Faut pas déconner and Stevez in 2019, the album Pas Ouehda in 2020 with Heuss l'Enfoiré and Jul, the mixtapes Warming Up and Dossier TK in 2021-2022, the album Avant la fête in 2022. He has accumulated appearances on Jul's projects — VNTM, Bouge-moi de là, Y'a la police, Cartel de platine — and built a loyal fanbase around his recognizable style: festive, melancholic, typically Marseillaise. 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He wears a mask on stage, a strong visual identity that reinforces the persona.
On August 30th at Tigullio, TK closes the 2026 showcase season in Malta. Underground main room in Maltese stone in Spinola Bay, raw acoustics, international French-speaking crowd. A proper last summer night.
