R2 Showcase in Malta — August 9, 2026

Rayan Kipre was born on August 26, 2004, in Saint-Denis, of Ivorian and Ethiopian descent, and grew up in Arpajon, Essonne. He started on BandLab, signed with the 360 OTG label, and released his first single Pastille Bleue in 2023. 2024 was a productive year — Horizon, Joker, the EP FullExclu Vol.1 which surpassed 6 million streams, collaborations with Guy2bezbar on OCB and with Timar on En bas.

2025 marked a change in scale. Selected among Booska-P's 11 rappers to watch. Album 7/7, then its re-edition 7/7: 24/24 featuring Ruinart — number one on the Spotify France Top 50, number 2 on the SNEP Top for three weeks, certified diamond in less than four months. What sets R2 apart is his hybrid style: he blends New York drill and Jersey influences with calmer, more melodic atmospheres, without ever falling into genre clichés.

On August 9 at Tigullio, it's his first showcase in Malta. Underground main hall in Maltese stone in Spinola Bay, raw acoustics, international French-speaking crowd. R2 plays on his birthday night — he turns 22 on August 26.
