You ride at your own pace, without a guide, close to the base. From 15 minutes to 1 hour. The right choice for a first time.
Guided safari
A guided jet ski tour: you follow a guide along the coast. From St Julian's: 1 h 30 min to Comino's Blue Lagoon (north route) or past Valletta's Grand Harbour (south route). From Marsaskala: 2 hours along the south coast, to the Blue Grotto.

- Fuel is included at Sun & Fun. At Sips, it is included for sessions under 1 hour and for the safari.
- At Sun & Fun, a €100 cash deposit applies to the 1-hour rental and to the safari.
- Life jackets are provided.

No. Neither of our two operators asks for a licence. You must be 18 to drive and show an ID.
What is the minimum age?
18 to drive. For a younger passenger, message us on WhatsApp before booking.
Can two people ride one jet ski?
Yes, two people on the same jet ski. The price is per jet ski. On the Sun & Fun safari, the combined weight for two is limited to 200 kg.
Where can you go jet skiing in Malta?
At St George's Bay (St Julian's) with Sun & Fun Watersports, and at St Thomas Bay (Marsaskala) with Sips Watersports.
Can you go to the Blue Lagoon by jet ski?
Yes, on the Sun & Fun guided safari, north route: 1 h 30 min from St Julian's to Comino's Blue Lagoon. With a rental, you stay close to the base.
Jet ski and dolphins in Malta: can you see them?
It is not promised. Sips runs a dolphin-spotting boat trip from Marsaskala, from May to September, with no guarantee of a sighting. Message us on WhatsApp if you are interested.
