Staying in Sliema and fancy a jet ski ride? Sun & Fun Watersports' jet skis leave from their base in St George's Bay, in St Julian's, just north of Sliema. No need for a taxi: with your booking, their minibus picks you up in Sliema for free and brings you back after your session.
The free shuttle from Sliema
- Where to catch it: opposite the Preluna Hotel, on the Sliema promenade, or at Sliema Ferries, near the quay of the ferries to Valletta. It also stops in Balluta and in Gżira, opposite the Bayview Hotel.
- When: every hour, from 9:10 am to 5:10 pm opposite the Preluna and from 9:20 am to 5:20 pm at Sliema Ferries.
- Journey: about 25 minutes from Sliema Ferries and 35 minutes from the Preluna to the base, according to these times.
- Price: free with a Sun & Fun booking. Show your confirmation to the driver of the Oasis minibus; seats go to whoever arrives first.
- Return: after the jet ski, the shuttle takes you back to the stop where you got on.

Jet ski prices
- 15 minutes: €50 solo, €70 for two.
- 30 minutes: €75 solo, €95 for two.
- 1 hour: €140 solo, €180 for two, with a €100 cash deposit.
The price is per jet ski, fuel and life jackets included. No licence needed: the driver must be 18 and show an ID. The jet ski can be hired every day from 9 am to 6 pm and stays within the base's safety zone.
A morning from Sliema
- You take the 9:20 am shuttle at Sliema Ferries.
- Around 9:45 am, you arrive at the St George's Bay base: ID and reading of the rules at the office.
- You head out on your jet ski for the duration you chose, solo or for two.
- You take the shuttle back to Sliema.
