Kaaris played at Tigullio twice in 2025 — on June 29 and August 17. Two evenings in the underground stone venue in Spinola Bay that confirmed what fans have known since Or Noir: Kaaris on stage is a physical experience. The bass, the punchlines, the presence. No artifice. On July 5, 2026, he officially opens the season for a third appearance.
Gnakouri Okou was born in Abidjan in 1980, grew up in Sevran in the 93, and spent fifteen years building one of the most consistent discographies in French rap. Or Noir in 2013 — number 3 on the charts, now considered a classic. Le Bruit de Mon Âme in 2015 with Future. Dozo in 2017. Or Noir 3 in 2019. 2.7.0 in 2020. SVR with Kalash Criminel in 2022, number one in France. Two concerts at the Accor Arena in February 2024 to celebrate Or Noir's 10th anniversary. Day One in 2025.
Kaaris is the artist who brought American trap to France before everyone else did. In 2026, he plays in Malta for the third time. Tigullio's Maltese stone, the raw acoustics of the main room — the setting suits him well.
