Event Description
Genezio replaces Guy2bezbar at Tigullio. On August 2, 2026, Yoan Makangou performs his first Maltese show in the underground stone venue in Spinola Bay — French rap showcase, French-speaking atmosphere, melodic energy.
Born in 2003 in Le Chesnay, Genezio grew up in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges in the 94, with Congolese origins proudly reflected in his music. Discovered through the Vibestars freestyle series in 2021-2022, selected among the 11 rappers to watch by Booska-P in 2023, he followed up with Vibestars Season 1, Vibestars Season 2 (No. 35 SNEP) with Dadju, Naza, Guy2Bezbar, Landy, Gambino La MG. In 2024, he brought the bounce to France — Atlanta influence, catchy choruses, rumba melodies — on Bounce Season 1 and 2 with MHD, Ronisia, Tiakola, La Mano 1.9. Maroquinerie sold out, La Cigale, 520K+ monthly Spotify listeners.
On stage, Genezio plays the melodic card: soft voice over hard lyrics, choruses that the audience sings along to, energy that gradually builds. Tigullio Malta and its raw acoustic underground venue — perfect setting for a show that relies on voice and presence. Dense French-speaking audience, no downtime.
