Event Description
Genezio replaced Guy2bezbar at Tigullio. On 2 August 2026, Yoan Makangou played his first Maltese show in the underground stone venue of Spinola Bay — a French rap showcase, French-speaking crowd, melodic energy.
Born in 2003 in Le Chesnay, Genezio grew up in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges in the 94, with Congolese roots that come through in the music. Spotted through the Vibestars freestyle series in 2021-2022, picked among Booska-P's 11 rappers to watch in 2023, he followed with Vibestars Season 1 and Vibestars Season 2 (no. 35 SNEP) alongside Dadju, Naza, Guy2Bezbar, Landy and Gambino La MG. In 2024 he brought bounce to France — Atlanta influence, hook-driven, rumba melodies — on Bounce Seasons 1 and 2 with MHD, Ronisia, Tiakola and La Mano 1.9. A sold-out Maroquinerie, La Cigale, 520K+ monthly Spotify listeners.
On stage, Genezio plays the melodic card: a soft voice over hard lyrics, hooks the crowd sings back, energy that builds gradually. Tigullio Malta and its raw underground acoustics — the perfect setting for a show built on voice and presence.
