Malta's electronic festival club
UNO Malta is the former "Club Numero Uno", the name many people still use. The club is set in the middle of the Ta' Qali crafts village, in the parish of Attard, in the centre of the island, among trees and palm trees. It started out as a restaurant in a big garden, became an open-air nightclub, reopened under new management in 2002, then was completely renovated and relaunched as UNO in 2016.
Today, it's the home of the big parties and electronic music festivals in Malta, ranked 38th in The World's 100 Best Clubs 2025 by the International Nightlife Association. Carl Cox, Loco Dice and Maceo Plex played there in 2026; before them, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Peggy Gou, Solomun and Black Coffee.
Indoors or outdoors? The 4 spaces
It's one of the most asked questions. The answer: mostly outdoors.

In winter, only Treehaus and Heart stay open. All the spaces are wheelchair accessible, and there are food stalls on site, with vegetarian and vegan options.
When to go: season and festivals
UNO has no fixed days: the club opens night by night, depending on the parties and festivals announced on its website. The big season runs from mid-March to late October, with parties almost every night from late June to late August. In winter, a few dates remain: in 2026, Lights Out Reunion on 28 November and Two Groovy on 5 December (free until 10:30pm, then €10).

These festivals are held at UNO but also at other venues on the island (beaches, boats, forts). Example of a price: the WAH 2027 4-day pass costs £215 plus fees.
Tickets and entry rules
- Tickets: there's no single price. Each party has its own ticket, sold on UNO's website (Tixify ticketing) or by the festival promoter.
- Age: 18 for festivals; for club parties, it depends on the promoter (17 or 18).
- ID: only a passport, ID card or driving licence is accepted. If your ticket has a name on it, the ID must match.
- Bag: no bigger than an A4 sheet. Bag search at the door.
- Not allowed: outside drinks and food, bottles, professional cameras, flags, fireworks, drugs.
- No re-entry: once you've left, you can't get back in.
- Payment: cash and card accepted. Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor smoking areas.
Getting there and, above all, getting home
UNO is far from Paceville (about 7 km as the crow flies): this is the real thing to plan.
- Bus: routes 56, 186 and 202, stop "Villagg", right outside the entrance. The 202 is the only one that goes towards St Julian's. Check the time of the last bus in the Tallinja app: there's no direct night bus between Ta' Qali and Paceville.
- Bolt or taxi: this is what UNO recommends. Search for "UNO Malta" in the app: drop-off and pick-up are in front of the main entrance. Count on 12 to 15 minutes from St Julian's or Buġibba.
- Car: there's no parking at UNO, only two private car parks very close by. And no alcohol if you're driving.
Tip: order your Bolt before the end of the night or share it with your group. At the end of a festival, thousands of people are looking for a car at the same time.
