A boat just for your group, no licence needed: the Sun & Fun Watersports Blumax takes up to 6 people and has a 100 hp engine. Departure from their base in St George's Bay, St Julian's: Valletta's Grand Harbour is 15 minutes away, Comino's Blue Lagoon 45 minutes.
Three packages
- Half day, morning (3 h 30 min): €250, departure between 08:30 and 09:30
- Half day, afternoon (3 h 30 min): €270, departure between 13:30 and 14:00
- Full day (7 h): €350
The price is for the whole boat, not per person. Fuel is extra: it is calculated and paid when you return, based on your consumption (the engine is modern and fuel-efficient). The boat must be returned by 18:00 at the latest.

Good to know before booking
- Driver: minimum age 18, with ID. No boat licence required.
- €200 cash deposit at the office before departure, returned if there is no damage.
- Alcohol strictly forbidden on board.
- Late return: a half day returned late is charged at the full-day price; beyond the full day, €300 per hour.
- Damage to the boat or equipment is at the customer's expense.
- To set foot on land at the Blue Lagoon, you need a free pass, to be booked on blcomino.com.
How does booking work?
Click "Book now": you'll land on the official booking page of Sun & Fun Watersports, the team that rents out the boat, with your package already selected (morning, afternoon or full day). You choose the date, then pay online: the boat is booked as soon as you pay. The price is the same as booking directly with them.
Free shuttle
With your booking, the Sun & Fun shuttle (Oasis minibus) is free. It runs every hour from 09:00: Balluta (bus stop), Sliema (opposite the Preluna Hotel), Sliema Ferries, then Gzira (opposite the Bayview Hotel), and on to the St George's Bay base. It also takes you back to your starting point after the activity. Show your booking to the driver; seats are first come, first served.
