What is the Gianpula Main Room?

The Gianpula Main Room is the biggest room at Gianpula Village, the biggest club in Malta, in Rabat. It holds 3 500 people. This is where it all started, in the early 1990s, in an old Maltese farmhouse surrounded by gardens.

The room has 7 bars, a very good sound and light system, and a VIP area with its own bars and sofas you can book. According to the official website, Gianpula is ranked 32nd of the 100 best clubs in the world and hosts more than 200 events a year.

Open all year: open-air in summer, covered in winter

From May to September, the Main Room is open-air: you dance under the stars. In winter, the room is covered and stays open. The big parties we sell take place in summer.

On Fridays, the Main Room hosts G7 Fridays, but tickets for it aren't sold on our site. The prices above don't include ticketing fees and go up in tiers: the earlier you book, the less you pay.

Concerts and showcases at the Main Room

The Main Room hosts the big artists who come to Malta. In 2026: Guè Malta on 20 July and Morad Malta on 27 July. Electronic music stars have played here too, like Green Velvet. Concerts cost more than regular parties: 60 € for Guè and 40 € for Morad in 2026.

Which party should you choose at the Main Room?

• For reggaeton: Mamacita Malta on Tuesday, Bad Bunnies Gianpula on Wednesday, Move It Malta on Sunday.
• For a French crowd: French Night Fever Gianpula on Thursday.
• For a concert: the summer showcases, on the site as soon as they go on sale.

Most of the crowd is between 18 and 23.

VIP tables at the Gianpula Main Room

The VIP area is a raised terrace overlooking the dance floor, with its own bars and numbered sofas. It has two zones:

• Behind the stage arch (sofas 7, 8 and 9): the best spots, up to 2 000 €.
• Left of the dance floor (sofas 1 to 6): from 300 to 800 €.

The price changes a lot from one party to the next. It's a minimum spend: you choose what's included when you book.

Before you go: times, dress code and entry

• Opening hours: it opens at 11pm and ends around 4am.
• Last entry: at midnight. After that, expect to pay 10 € more.
• When to arrive: just before midnight. The party gets going around 12:30am.
• Getting in: there's a lot of security, but getting in is quick. There's a bag search: you'll be refused entry if you have drugs on you.
• Age: 17 minimum, with valid ID.
• Dress code: sneakers are fine.
• Cloakroom: there isn't one. Travel light.
• Drinks: you pay with tokens, 4 tokens minimum. Drinks are a bit more expensive than in other clubs.
• Food and smoking: there are food stands, and you can smoke anywhere in the complex.

How do you get to the Gianpula Main Room?

Address: Gianpula Village, Gianpula Road, Rabat. It's in the middle of the island, not in Paceville. Many parties include return transport: it's written on each event page.

• Bad Bunnies and French Night Fever: departure from Pendergardens, Triq Gort, from 10:30pm to 11:30pm (2026 season).
• Move It: departure from the Paceville bus terminus from 10pm to 11pm, back from 3am to 4am (2026 season).
• By Bolt: 15 to 30 € from Paceville on the way there, and up to 50 € on the way back, with a long wait.
• By car: there's a big free car park.

Main Room or other rooms at Gianpula?

Gianpula has 10 rooms and spaces. The Main Room is the one for big parties and concerts. The Rooftop, on the roof with a pool, hosts the Tuesday pool party, and Marrakech hosts the White Party. All the rooms and their parties are on the Gianpula page.
