Event Description
Guy2bezbar in Live Performance in Malta — August 2, 2026
Guy2bezbar will perform in Malta for the first time on August 2, 2026, at Tigullio. Guy Fernand Kapata was born in 1997 in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, Barbès, of Congolese origin. His stage name says it all: his first name and his neighborhood, combined. No complicated storytelling—a clear identity from the start.
What sets Guy2bezbar apart in the French rap scene is his dual career: rapper and professional footballer in Ligue 2 simultaneously. Not an amateur, not part-time—a real sports career pursued in parallel with music, which is unprecedented in the French scene. His album Coco Jojo was released in November 2021, featuring Hamza on two tracks, Zkr on Baltimore, Dinos, Koba LaD, and Tayc. A list of features that pretty much sums up his position in francophone rap.
Since 2021, collaborations have accumulated—La Mano 1.9, Josman, Green Montana, Leto. Guy2bezbar is part of this generation that builds its career through accumulated presence rather than media stunts. On August 2 at Tigullio, the main underground venue made of Maltese stone in Spinola Bay, it will be his first date in Malta. An international francophone crowd, raw acoustics, summer atmosphere.
