September is the month Malta regulars quietly prefer. The sea is still 26 °C, it's 28 °C during the day, but the August queues are gone and flights are affordable again. The clubs haven't shut down either: Toy Room keeps an almost full programme until 13 September, Café del Mar hosts CamelPhat, and BRESH closes the season on 11 September.

🔥 Headline events
✦BRESH — Toy Room Closing
Italy's cult party lands in Paceville for the season closing
Born in Genoa and now a phenomenon across Italy, BRESH has made its name as la fiesta más linda del mundo: reggaeton, pop classics, Latin hits, glitter and flowers — a set built so everyone sings, with no dead air. For its Malta date, the party closes Toy Room, the last big night of the season in Paceville. General admission or VIP. Minimum age 17, ID required.
✦CamelPhat — District at Café del Mar
The British house duo playing a sunset session facing the Mediterranean
CamelPhat means “Cola”, a Grammy nomination, and one of the most established house duos on the international circuit. District puts them on at Café del Mar for a sunset session: lit infinity pool, Mediterranean views and an international crowd. Last entry 11pm. One of the last big guests of the 2026 season — single date only.
✦Neolitika x VELTAX — Club Phoenix
Underground techno at Gianpula, eight hours with no let-up
Neolitika brings in VELTAX, the techno collective from Tbilisi, to the rawest room in Malta's largest complex. This is not a standard club night: it's underground techno, for people who follow line-ups rather than famous names. On the bill: the hypnotic pressure of Hyden, a percussive live set from Chontane, VELTAX residents Clinical Hates b2b Iraklion, and Phynyks flying the Maltese flag. From 8pm to 4am, no break.
✦Neolitika x SESH — Aria Complex
Berlin label SESH leaves Berlin for the first time, heading to Malta
Two weeks after Gianpula, Neolitika returns to Aria Complex — this time with SESH, leaving Berlin for the first time. One long session from 9pm to 4am, no break. The line-up moves through techno, hard house, trance and groove: BIIA, Scottish artist sim0ne, KLAPS, INVERTED and Phynyks. The last major electronic date of the season.
🎉 Weekly nights at Toy Room
Toy Room is the only club in Paceville running a programme this dense in September: a different party almost every night until 13 September, then Fridays and Saturdays through to the 26th. If you're in Malta midweek, this is where it happens. Doors at 11pm, close at 4am, 17+ with ID.
✦Le Désir — Toy Room
French Touch and French-language urban sounds, smart club atmosphere
The spirit of Parisian nights exported to Paceville: the DJs mix the best French-language urban tracks, French Touch classics and the big international hits of the moment. The dress code is enforced and door selection is strict. 8 September is the last date of the season.
📅 September dates
✦Glow Wednesdays — Toy Room
Laser shows, light-up robots and UV effects — the last date of the season
Laser shows, light-up robots, neon lights and UV effects: the most visual night of the Maltese summer, with dancers, entertainers and Frank the Bear in fluoro form. 2 September is the last Glow of the season — after that, Wednesday has no equivalent on the island. Capacity 500. The VIP ticket includes priority entry and access to the VIP area.
✦Kaboom Thursday — Toy Room
Balloons everywhere, surprise games and entertainers — the most unpredictable Thursday
Balloons everywhere, surprise games in every corner, Frank the Bear causing chaos, dancers and entertainers: Kaboom isn't an ordinary club night, it's live entertainment inside a club. The party only returns twice in September after a summer break — these are its only end-of-season dates.
📅 September dates
✦Circus — Toy Room
Acrobats, costumed performers and non-stop show — Friday at Toy Room
A modern big top in the heart of Paceville: acrobats, costumed performers and eccentric dancers appear in the middle of the crowd while the DJs run hip-hop, house and international hits. Note 11 September: that Friday, Toy Room is given over to BRESH — no Circus.
📅 September dates
✦Wild West Saturdays — Toy Room
Toy Room turned into a modern saloon, big sound and immersive show
Saloon set, professional dancers in costume and Frank the Bear in cowboy gear: Wild West is the wildest Saturday in Paceville, with DJs running big bangers back to back. Two final dates in September before Saturday reverts to Toy Room Saturdays.
📅 September dates
✦Love Night — Toy Room
Hip-hop, reggaeton and red lights — the hottest Sunday in Paceville
A heavy selection of hip-hop, reggaeton and urban anthems under dimmed red lights: Love Night closes the weekend on a more glamorous note than Saturday. It's the Sunday party in Paceville — and one of the few that returns for occasional dates in October and November.
📅 September dates
✦Dolce Vita — Toy Room
Toy Room's Italian Monday, Riviera spirit — last date of the season
Toy Room turns into a club inspired by the Italian Riviera: great Italian classics reworked and mixed with international sounds, dimmed lighting, premium cocktails. It's the Italian community's night out in Malta, and 7 September closes the year's run.
✦Toy Room Saturdays
Reggaeton, trap, R&B and hip-hop — the last two nights of the season
After the BRESH closing, Saturday returns to its original format: uncompromising urban programming — reggaeton, trap, R&B, hip-hop — in the club's theatrical setting, with Frank the Bear as its emblem. These are the last two club nights of the season in Paceville.
📅 September dates
🍸 The island's other clubs
✦Starlight — TwentyTwo
Deep house and premium clubbing on the 22nd floor, every Saturday this month
TwentyTwo sits on the 22nd floor of Portomaso Business Tower: panoramic views over St Julian's bay and premium cocktails. Starlight deliberately avoids commercial clichés — the DJs move between deep house and fluid electronic rhythms. Strict door selection, smart dress code required. It's the cheapest night in this selection, and it runs all four Saturdays of the month.
📅 September dates
✦Ladies Night — TwentyTwo
R&B and house vocals on the 22nd floor, with perks for women
Same rooftop, different night: Ladies Night takes all four Fridays in September with a selection of old-school and current R&B fused with house vocals and the hits of the moment. Easier entry and dedicated bar offers for women early in the night — arriving early is worth it. A safe bet for a hen do.
📅 September dates
✦French Party — TwentyTwo
French rap, francophone classics and French House — last date of the season
French Party brings the island's francophone community together every Sunday from 3 May to 6 September — so the 6th is the last one. French rap, timeless francophone classics and sharp French House, with the room kept at a 50/50 gender split. Bottle service at VIP tables, air-conditioned venue.
✦Move It ! — Gianpula Village
Malta's biggest open-air Latin party — transport included
Move It is the island's reggaeton / dembow / afrotrap reference: open-air dancefloor in the heart of Gianpula Village, resident DJs and guests, international crowd. The €35 ticket includes return transport from Paceville Bus Terminus — which matters, given Gianpula is 20 minutes from St Julian's. Last entry 12.30am, 18+. 6 September is the 17th and final date of the season.
✦Pool & Party — Gianpula Rooftop
Late-night rooftop pool party, pool open all night and shuttle included
An open-air party around a lit pool on the Gianpula rooftop. Its real strength: the pool stays open all night — you can dance at the water's edge or just jump straight in. Strobes, big summer hits, and a completely relaxed dress code (swimwear strongly recommended under your outfit). Return transport from Paceville included in the ticket.
✦Flirt Foam Party — Aria Complex
Malta's biggest foam party — last date of the season
Flirt is the island's biggest foam party: foam cannons, electro bass and reggaeton, in the open-air arena of Aria Complex in San Ġwann. Bring clothes that don't mind water or foam — lockers are available for your phone and wallet. 5 September closes the year's run, which had been going every Saturday since 6 June.
✦The White Party — Hugo's Hotel
All white on the rooftop facing the sea — the very last edition
A modern ball suspended above the sea, on the Hugo's rooftop in the heart of St Julian's. Two rooms: the Main Room on trap, reggaeton and R&B, the Dom Pérignon House space on house, techno and commercial hits. The colour code is non-negotiable — white head to toe. 14 September is the final date of the 2026 series, which started on 13 March.
✦Café del Mar — Thursday Pool Party
Sunset pool party facing the Mediterranean — the last Thursday of the season
Every Thursday of the season, Malta's most iconic beach club switches to an open-air night facing the Mediterranean: sunset, lit infinity pool, deep house and melodic electronica until 1am. International crowd, smart atmosphere — the antidote to Paceville. 3 September is the last Thursday of the run; after that only one-off dates like CamelPhat remain.
🚢 Boat parties and cruises
✦Lazy Pirate Boat Party
Wooden Turkish gulet, unlimited open bar and a night swim under the stars
The island's most iconic boat party, and not a generic catamaran: the Fernandes II, a genuine wooden Turkish gulet, 200 people maximum. Unlimited open bar (vodka, tequila, whiskey, rum, gin, beer, wine, sangria, soft drinks), live DJ throughout the cruise, snacks and fresh fruit, sunset views over Valletta and St Julian's, then a night swim in moonlit water. 18–30 crowd, minimum age 18. In September the boat is far less crowded than in August — the best month to do it.
📅 September dates
✦Mega Boat Party
400 people, 2 dancefloors and unlimited open bar — the last sailing of the year
4.5 hours at sea with 400 travellers from all over the world: two dancefloors with live DJs, unlimited open bar (spirits, beers, soft drinks) and a swim stop in crystal-clear water before the party picks back up until the return to port. No strict dress code, international and laid-back. 5 September is the last sailing of the season — if you missed it in August, this is your final window. 17+, tickets non-refundable.
✦Spirit of Malta — Comino Cruise
Large catamaran, Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon, open bar and buffet lunch
The “day” version rather than the “night” one: a large sailing catamaran, stops at the Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon to swim and explore the sea caves, open bar all day (beers, local wines, soft drinks), buffet lunch prepared by the crew, and huge nets at the bow for sunbathing just above the waves. The cruise runs daily from 1 to 30 September, then drops to a reduced schedule in October. It's the trip to do the day after a big night out.

✦Party calendar — September 2026✦
Going out in Malta in September 2026: what to expect
September is the best-balanced month of the Maltese season. It's still 28 °C, the sea is 26 °C, but prices drop and the clubs shed the August crowds. The trade-off: the calendar tightens week by week — the first fortnight is still full, the second keeps only Fridays and Saturdays.
28 °C by day, sea at 26 °C
August's heat eases off without the sea cooling down: it's the best month for boat parties and cruises. The sun sets around 7pm, which makes sunset formats — Café del Mar, Lazy Pirate — even easier to fit into a day.
It all happens in the first two weeks
Until 13 September, Toy Room has a party on almost every night. After the BRESH closing on the 11th, only Fridays (Circus, Ladies Night) and Saturdays (Toy Room Saturdays, Starlight) remain. If you can pick your dates, aim before the 14th.
An electronic month, not a showcase month
Unlike July and August, September has no rap showcase at Tigullio. The headliners are electronic: CamelPhat at Café del Mar on the 7th, Neolitika x VELTAX on the 5th and Neolitika x SESH on the 19th. Plus BRESH on the 11th, which is in a category of its own.
The best value of the year
Flights and hotels drop sharply from the first week of September, while club entry stays at August prices: €15 at TwentyTwo, €25 at Toy Room, €35 for the big dates. Tickets also move slower than in peak season — except for BRESH and CamelPhat.
Where to stay in Malta for September nights out
Stay in St Julian's or Sliema: it's the best base this month. Toy Room is in Paceville and TwentyTwo in Portomaso — both walkable — and both boat parties, Lazy Pirate and Mega Boat, board at Sliema Ferries. For Café del Mar (St Paul's Bay), budget for a taxi (~€15–20) or stay in Bugibba. For Gianpula (Rabat), the shuttle included in the Move It or Pool & Party ticket solves it. Compare availability:
